Download Speed

This is a measure of how quickly a webpage loads from request to rendering.

Technically, it is actually a measure of time not speed, as the measurement is different for two different web pages on the same Internet connection.

There are other constraints that can affect the time taken for a web page to appear in a browser, including client-side scripts, such as JavaScript, rendering issues, such as invalid CSS, and requirements for 3rd-party downloads, such as Java Applets.
