IE - Internet Explorer

IE is Microsoft's web browser, which is free to downlaod, and also comes packaged with the Windows OS.

The current version is 6, although, the beta-version of IE7 is now available.

IE has some 'interesting' interpretations of w3c standards, and is 'forced' into standards-compliance mode by use of the correct DOCTYPE declaration in HTML.
