Paid Inclusion
Paid Inclusion
Paid inclusion search engines accept a fee in return for inclusion in their index.
Such activity is rare now as Google (running a free inclusion model) dictates the market at this stage. Inktomi (now owned by Yahoo) used to run a paid inclusion model.
The big three search engines (MSN, Yahoo and Google) do not require any payment for inclusion at this time.
