Searchmash

Searchmash is Google's testing site for new search-engine results and user-interface features.

Used to carry out trials 'more objectively'[1] than would be possible on a Google-branded site.

Features trialled include layout features like results pages with web and image results side-by-side,
and interactivity features such as being able to drag-and-drop results on the results page.
