Static (HTML) Pages
Static pages are so called because they never change automatically.
This is because they are not processed by the web-server before being sent to your browser or a search engine, and are delivered 'as-is'.
Many people mistakenly believe that static pages are favoured by search engines. In fact, static pages simply have less potential to have 'barriers' to search rankings.
The opposite to static pages are 'dynamic' pages.
