Originally GMail had the largest storage space for an email service boasting a whopping 1GB of storage space, and because of this it was originally by invitation only but now after resetting the bar services such as AOL and Yahoo mail have caught up offering now unlimited storage space on their email accounts. GMail despite this has recently released GMail to the public but has offered to expand up from the free storage (now 2GB) for a fee, the smallest being $20 for 6GB and the largest being $500 for 250GB this struck me as odd if the competitors are offering better services gratis including photo storage, is GMail heading for a very tight grave?
