Google Base is a free service that allows people to put information on the interent that can be easily searched in the search engine indicies. You can find Google Base at base.google.com

Google on Google Base
Altough currently a beta service offered by Google the Google Base is a part of Google that runs on a database which allows you to submit content to the web. They'll "host your content and make it searchable online." The information you post to Google Base can be attached to any attribute. These attributes will be used as the search keys for results for searches made in Google Base. The items that are listed in Google Base can be included in the Google search Index and may also appear in the indices of Froogle and the Google Local Search.

Advertising on Google Base

Google only lists the entries submitted to it through the entry system and currently includes no paid-for advertising such as Adwords. If you would like to post your information to Google Base you will need to use a Google Account Login, the same account you would use for a Google Personalised Home Page or the Urchin based Google Analaytics service.
