An older generation S.N. is 'born'

The company that brings the over 50's car insurance, holidays and savings accounts has rolled out the beige carpet for a new social network for the more senior generation. The network (SagaZone) was created as the company Saga saw that more mature web-users shied away from networks such as Myspace which although does have a large age range isn't suited to the interests of the older generation, it was also discovered that they avoided Bebo as the average user was 15-25. Seeing this as a niche market, Saga stuck its foot in and has been exceptionally successful; the site itself has had over 13000 visitors since it was launched four months ago.

The site is catering specifically for the 50+'s interests, with the ability to create profiles pages just like all popular networks, join in group discussions on the forums and add friends. Although that is all very good, there isn't much in the way of other things to do I know I speak from a younger persons standpoint but even then, there just doesn't seem much to amuse yourself with. The forum is the most exiting part of it, you would think it would of been nice to have something else, even a classifieds Directory or blog listing. The profile browsing 'system' only has one ordering option and that is numero-alphabetical, which makes finding new people difficult and irritating as you have to go through tons of pages you've already seen to get to the one you where at last time. Well worth a look if you're in that age group, you might find it interesting the again you might not; but in my opinion although this is designed for the older generation I believe the site itself is in its infancy and requires improvement, in more than one way (Error Picture 1)(2) but it might possibly improve in future times.
