Regular YouTube videos to be made adverts

Google has now rolled out a new Adsense idea that places YouTube video's on affiliate sites which Google is hoping will boost advertising. Basically certain video's are selected from YouTube and categorised to fit certain types of website just like normal adverts, but along the bottom there will be a bar that flashes advert links. For example you’re running a sport website and you choose to join AdSense and get the YouTube videos put up, the video would probably be something like 'David Beckham's guide to kicking a ball around' or something like that and underneath would display adverts in a small 'unobtrusive' bar which you have to option to switch on and off once viewing has started. Sounds a decent idea. It allows people to make more money and display Content that their customers would be interested in, everyone wins.

Another, slightly more strange, idea that Google looks like it is going to add to the Google advertising campaign, is displaying adverts on peoples houses. No not real houses but Google Earth houses. Google has recently patented the idea of displaying advertisements on aerial imagery. What people speculate is that adverts will be displayed on the roofs of houses or on empty areas of the map and may possibly be related to the actual buildings it covers but it’s early days.
